Heat guard Dwyane Wade is expected to play against the Grizzlies on Sunday despite a sprained right wrist.

Wade suffered the injury on a dunk attempt against the Mavericks on Friday night.

"I didn't get up high enough, and I came down pretty hard," said Wade. "I braced myself with my wrist as you always do. It was just real stiff."

The injury occurred in the first half and Wade said it affected his shooting for the remainder of the game.

"I wasn't able to really flick it the way I wanted to," Wade said. "I tried early on to get to the basket to hope it would loosen up, but it wasn't as normal as it should have been. ... I've played with this injury before so I just want to make sure that I'm pain-free.

"You don't want to be in the game and then get hit and be right back to where you're at. I'll just make sure I do everything they tell me to do and be able to shoot."
