A pair of Clippers broadcasters met with Grizzlies center Hamed Haddadi on Sunday, where they expressed regret for an incident earlier this month.

Clippers play-by-play man Ralph Lawler and color analyst Michael Smith earned a one-game suspension for comments made about Haddadi on Nov. 18.

Lawler and Smith made off-the-cuff remarks about Haddadi, who was born in Iran.

"It went really well," Lawler told the Associated Press, before Sunday's game between the Clippers and Grizzlies.

"It was really good to get a chance to shake his hand and look him in the eye. We reached out to him, he reached back, and I feel real good about it."
