Rodney Carney may be on the verge of joining his third team in four seasons. Since being drafted in 2006, Carney has played with the Philadelphia 76ers, Minnesota Timberwolves, and as an unrestricted free agent could join a new franchise in the next few weeks.

A source close to the situation reports that Carney has received interest from as many as ten teams and is in the midst of working a deal out.

But don't rule out a homecoming just yet. The 76ers have contacted the swingman regarding a reserve role.

Last season, Carney averaged a career high 7.2 points and 17.9 minutes per game but Minnesota renounced his rights to trim salary.
