When asked about Jason Kidd's future in Dallas, Jason Terry hinted that the future Hall of Famer could play elsewhere.

"First of all, your point guard is free and he's the best point guard in the world. That's a big void to fill," Terry told the Dallas Morning News.

Terry was then asked if he felt the Mavericks should try to keep Kidd.

"They should, but he's free, right? He can go wherever he wants to go. We want him back. I know every guy in that locker room wants him back. He's a Hall of Famer, and he's definitely a big reason why this team had success this season."
