Magic rookie guard Courtney Lee has earned more playing time recently by playing aggressive defense for coach Stan Van Gundy.

Lee has made Van Gundy re-evaluate his decision to feature just an eight-man rotation.

He had three steals in Orlando's win over Oklahoma City on Wednesday, including one that excited general manager Otis Smith.

Lee single-handedly defended a Thunder fastbreak. He ran and intercepted the ball near the Thunder's baseline all in one stride.

"They never saw him. A great, great play," Smith said.
