The Blazers (4-3) used a strong fourth quarter performance to knock off the Magic (4-3) at Amway Arena. Brandon Roy scored 27 points and LaMarcus Aldridge added 16 points and 11 rebounds in the win. Portland was outrebounded by ten, but turned the ball over just five times. Hedo Turkoglu scored 35 points and Dwight Howard posted 29 points and 19 rebounds in the loss.

The Pacers (3-3) and Thunder (1-6) were tied after three quarters, but Indiana turned it on and improved to .500 on the season. T.J. Ford had 24 points, 10 assists and 7 rebounds, while Danny Granger tallied 20 points and 7 boards of his own. Oklahoma City outrebounded Indiana by ten, but had eighteen turnovers. Kevin Durant posted 37 points and 8 rebounds and Nick Collison tallied 11 points and 8 boards in defeat.

Paul Pierce had 36 points and 9 rebounds and Kevin Garnett tallied 21 points and 10 boards in the win. Boston outrebounded Toronto by nine and had five fewer turnovers. Jermaine O?Neal posted 23 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and Jose Calderon added 7 points and 10 dimes on the road.

Yi Jianlian starred with 24 points and 10 rebounds and Vince Carter scored 22 points for New Jersey, who played their second-straight game without Devin Harris (ankle).

Mayo had 33 points and fellow rookie Darrell Arthur added 10 points and 7 rebounds in the close road loss.
