After being embarrassed by 45 points in Boston last season, the Knicks were able to get a little revenge against the Celtics on Friday night, taking the game 104-97.

Sure it is only preseason, but the win is still big for New York, who is trying to find a new identity under the leadership of Mike D'Antoni.  But even D'Antoni downplayed the win, according to the New York Daily News.

"We'll spin it that way," D'Antoni said. "Sure we will. But it doesn't mean anything."

Eddy Curry played his longest stint of the preseason yet, going scoreless in 20 minutes of action.  To Curry's surprise, D'Antoni even ran some plays for his big man, but he was unable to convert.

"I was shocked to get it," Curry said. "We work on that play, but we've never used it. But I'm happy it was called. Let's keep using it."
