The Detroit Pistons struck first against the Orlando Magic on Saturday night, notching a 91-73 win in Game One of their best-of-seven series at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

Chauncey Billups had 19 points and 6 assists and Richard Hamilton tallied 17 points and 6 rebounds for the Pistons, who outrebounded Orlando by eight and turned the ball over just six times.

Tayshaun Prince added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the win for Detroit, who eliminated the 76ers in their first-round series on Thursday night.

Rashard Lewis posted 18 points and 5 rebounds and Hedo Turkoglu contributed 18 points and 7 boards in defeat for the Magic, who shot just 41% and went 2-for-16 from behind the three-point line.

Detroit kept Dwight Howard off the glass, as he notched 12 points on 5-for-11 shooting and grabbed just 8 rebounds. He sat out the final moments of the game with a bag of ice on his hand.

Game Two will be Monday night in Detroit as the Magic look to even up the series.
