Today might be the day the Timberwolves finally get some good news injected into their trying season.

Guard Randy Foye is scheduled to get his injured left knee re-examined today. The Wolves are hoping they hear good news and that Foye is cleared to resume practicing.

Foye, considered a franchise cornerstone during the rebuilding process, hasn't played a regular-season game this season because of the stress reaction in his left kneecap.

"Hopefully, we'll get some good news," Wittman said Sunday before his team lost to Dallas 101-78.
