Andre Iguodala, the 76ers' best player, said no to the team's final offer of a contract extension as the NBA deadline passed at midnight Wednesday. Iguodala declined an offer thought to be for 5 years and about $57 million. Special clauses or incentives that deal might have included are currently unknown.

While saying no to the offer from Sixers' president/general manager Billy King, Iguodala said yes to the rest of the season. Last season's encouraging 17-9 finish is history. This is where, in the fourth season of his young career, he will prove his worth.
