Bob Frith, Mo Williams high school coach and mentor, is among those close to Williams who say the point guard is torn between two options: He can re-sign for significantly more money and stay with the Milwaukee Bucks. Or, Williams can take less money from the Heat, but chase an NBA title in what he lists as his favorite city.

Acquiring Williams is clearly the Heat's offseason priority.

''I haven't talked to Mo yet, but I've been text messaging him every five minutes,'' Heat president and coach Pat Riley said Tuesday. ``I'm not interfering with his decision-making [process] at all.''
