At $592 million, the New York Knicks are the NBA's most valuable franchise according to Forbes.  

The Knicks lead this category for the second straight year, with a valuation that increased 9 percent from the previous year despite NBA-high losses of $39 million and the league's highest player payroll.  

The Knicks also had a league-high $185 million in revenues for the 2005-06 season.

The Los Angeles Lakers are second with a $568 million valuation.
