Because of a lower left leg sprain that is expected to sideline him for six to eight weeks, Andrew Bogut will likely miss the beginning of the season.

Bogut was helped off the court during a team scrimmage on Saturday after banging his leg into Steve Blake's knee. He did not return to the scrimmage.

Bucks coach Terry Stotts initially said the injury was not serious. But the No. 1 pick in last year's NBA draft was evaluated by team doctor John Heinrich on Sunday, and the Bucks said Monday that Bogut will undergo rehabilitation.
