The Wolves may target the likes of Bobby Jackson, Voshon Lenard, Wesley Person, Calbert Cheaney as a short-term fix to the team's woes, according to a report in the St. Paul Pioneer Press.  The Wolves are hoping that one of the above guards will fill the void of injured guard Rashad McCants, who most likely will miss the entire 2006-07 season, and free the Wolves from having to use their draft pick, sixth overall, on a replacement for McCants.

"Hopefully we may have a short-term solution," Casey said. "But no way are we saying that Rashad's not coming back. The solution would be short-term rather than long-term."
