Detroit Pistons guard Richard Hamilton was fined $15,000 by the NBA on Monday for a foul against the Milwaukee Bucks' Michael Redd in the fourth quarter of Saturday's playoff game, the Associated Press is reporting.

Hamilton was called for a flagrant foul penalty one during the game, but the league upgraded it to the more severe level two on Monday.

"Hopefully, I can talk to someone," Hamilton said. "$15,000? I don't understand that one. ... I don't think that was fair."
