The Heat continues to search for trade possibilities, with improving its depth at point guard standing as its highest priority. A free agent such as former Bull Jason Williams remains an option, but the front office is not enamored with any of the players available.

Riley says he would like to see what the roster can do when whole.

''I'd like to see this one together for a couple of months, so I don't think I would do anything at all,'' Riley said. 'I'm concerned about Jason [Williams' health]. Gary [Payton] is giving us everything he can. I think we always forget about the fact that, if we need to, Dwyane [Wade] can play [point guard].''

It's doubtful the Heat would wait very long if it finds a favorable trade. Among the movable pieces are Michael Doleac and Dorell Wright, who Riley would consider trading to improve his chances of winning right now.
