The Los Angeles Clippers will hold training camp in Moscow next fall before playing exhibition games against two of Russia's top teams.

The NBA announced Tuesday that the Clippers will join the San Antonio Spurs, Phoenix Suns and Philadelphia 76ers in NBA Europe Live 2006, a series of exhibition games in seven European cities.

The Clippers will train at the Universal Sports Hall CSKA before playing CSKA Moscow and Unics Kazan in exhibition games Oct. 6 and 8.

This will be the second time an NBA team has played in Russia. The Atlanta Hawks played in the former Soviet Union in 1988 when they toured Russia, Lithuania and Georgia.

"We are honored to open training camp and represent the NBA by playing two exhibition games in Moscow next year," Clippers coach Mike Dunleavy said.
