Dwyane Wade scored 31 points and grabbed 9 rebounds to nearly single-handedly beat the Washington Wizards by a final score of 102-95.  He also had six assists and two blocks, though Wade did turn the ball over eight times.

Alonzo Mourning started in place of Shaquille O'Neal who was unavailable for the game and scored 14 points and 13 rebounds.  Mourning was routinely booed by the MCI Center crowd.

Eddie Jones and Damon Jones added 16 points apiece, and Udonis Haslem had 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Gilbert Arenas scored 20 points and set a franchise playoff record with 14 assists for the Wizards.
