Backed by the 20 points of Dwyane Wade and the 19 points of almost-MVP Shaquille O?Neal, the Miami Heat defeated the visiting Washington Wizards 105-86.

The Wizards fell behind early, however they did manage to rally in the second quarter to within two points at halftime.  From there it was all Miami as the Heat used a 33-17 third quarter to take control of the game.

The Wizards were led by Gilbert Arenas, whose 25 points and 6 steals were a good sign for Wizards fans as Arenas was not himself in the first round against the Chicago Bulls.
