The New Orleans Hornets announced today that they have activated center Jamaal Magloire and forward David West and have placed forward Chris Andersen on the Injured List with an infected right elbow.

Magloire has missed the last 51 games (48 on the Injured List) with a fractured right ring finger.  He played in 11 games before suffering the injury Nov. 26 in the Hornets' game at Phoenix, averaging 14.1 points and 9.1 rebounds.

West has missed the last 47 games (44 on the Injured List) with a right knee contusion.  He played in 14 games before suffering the injury Dec. 4 in the Hornets' game vs. Detroit, averaging 6.6 points and 4.9 rebounds.

Andersen will miss at least the next five games on the Injured List with an infected right elbow.  The infection is in a laceration that he originally suffered in the Hornets' game at Dallas on Feb. 28.  Andersen, who also missed Monday night's game at San Antonio, has averaged 7.5 points and 6.0 rebounds in 60 games for the Hornets this season.
