Two of Isiah Thomas' most pressing needs to fill this offseason will be a young athletic frontcourt player and a guard who can play both the point and shooting guard.  The Washington Wizards will have two unrestricted free-agents that fill those descriptions in Kwame Brown and Larry Hughes.

Hughes is having a career-year and will come at a high cost.  He is averaging 21.6 points per game.  He will be a valued commodity, but a player like Hughes will be a necessity for the Knicks, as it appears more and more likely that Allan Houston will not return.
