The New York Knicks improved to 5-1 since the trade deadline with a 93-83 victory over the Washington Wizards.  The victory was their 7th in a row at home.

They were led by Jamal Crawford's 19 points, including two on a dunk after he passed the ball to himself off the backboard when he was hung in the air.

"No, you don't go in thinking that," Crawford said. "I went to pass it - I saw Steph (Marbury) and Malik (Rose) over there, but their men stayed with them, so I was stuck."

Not entirely, though. "I've done it before," Crawford said of dunking on a pass off of the backboard, "so I'm comfortable doing it. I was just trying to be creative."
