The Warriors flirted with beating two very good teams on Sunday versus Detroit and on Tuesday at Memphis.  On Wednesday they came into the Target Center and defeated the Timberwolves  99-93.

Jason Richardson scored 21 points, including several clutch 3-point shots on a bad ankle, causing him to hobble up and down the court.

Baron Davis shot 2-11 from the field, but he had 10 assists, creating open shots for Adonal Foyle, Mike Dunleavy and Richardson.

Dunleavy may be the player who benefits the most from the Davis trade, as he had a prolific second half of scoring, finishing the game with 19 points on 7-11 shooting.

Troy Murphy was lost in the shuffle down the stretch, as Mike Montgomery featured a line-up of Davis, Richardson, Foyle, Dunleavy and the Warriors' high-scorer, Derek Fisher, who had 23 points.

Kevin Garnett had his normal night, scoring 28 points and grabbing 13 rebounds, but the Warriors didn't let anyone else beat them, stopping the dangerous trio of Latrell Sprewell, Wally Szczerbiak and Fred Hoiberg.
