He wasn?t given a chance to make a contribution in this years Olympic Games, averaging 2.4 points in only 6.5 minutes.  However, Nuggets rookie phenom, Carmelo Anthony is looking to the future.  

At only 20 years of age, Anthony has plenty of games left in him.  Stu Jackson, chairman of the USA Basketball selection committee believes, a return trip to the Olympic Games could very well happen.

"Everybody seems to think Carmelo is going to be a great player someday," Jackson said. "He's not yet, but he will be. If we're looking at four years from now or two years from now (Anthony is undecided on whether he wants to play in the 2006 World Championships in Japan), if he stays on track, then certainly there's a good possibility (he could be selected again)."
