Orlando Magic general manager John Weisbrod is hedging his bets.  And although the first-year GM spoke out about all of the speculation surrounding a swap of Tracy McGrady for Steve Francis, he isn't tipping his hand.

Well, he is at least not tipping it all the way.

What seems clear is that Weisbrod is not ready to agree to and finalize the discussed trade.  But it also seems to be the case that the Rockets' offer is still the leading contender to win the T-Mac sweepstakes.

"I've just heard because of all the GMs that are calling in that it has been reported or the assumption is out there that it is done, or Houston is the team," Weisbrod said. "That is certainly not the case. We are still weighing all of our options.  I would say there are at least seven teams that are still under consideration."

The other big piece of news is that it does not appear that Francis' concern about the trade will hurt its chances to become final.

"That is not a major factor in it at all," Weisbrod said, adding that Francis' issues stem from leaving the Rockets but "not about coming here".
