Orlando Magic head coach Johnny Davis, who is considered by many magicfans as a lame duck coach for this season, apparently is a lame duck no more.

Magic Chief Operating Officer John Weisbrod told the Orlando Sentinel that Johnny Davis would return as the team's coach next season.

"I don't have any doubt that Johnny Davis is going to be our coach next season," Weisbrod said.

"I'm not going to be affected by those things; I'm going to do what I think is right. I don't have any doubt that Johnny Davis is going to be our coach next season," Weisbrod said. "I didn't make the change [from Rivers] with the idea that JD was an interim guy or I'd have gone outside [the organization]."
