PHOENIX (AP) The Phoenix Suns are close to a trade that would bring forward Donnell Harvey from the Orlando Magic.

Suns coach Mike D'Antoni confirmed Monday night that the deal was in the works.

``Tomorrow it's supposed to be official,'' D'Antoni said from his Seattle hotel room. ``It looks like we've got him.''

Harvey will be in Seattle for a physical Tuesday, D'Antoni said. He could be in uniform for the Suns' game against the SuperSonics on Tuesday night.

D'Antoni said he was not sure what Orlando would get in the trade. The Arizona Republic said on its Web site that Orlando would receive seldom-used forward Robert Archibald and a conditional second-round pick.

But other reports said only a second-round pick would be going to the Magic.

Harvey averaged 4.1 points and 3 rebounds for Orlando. The deal cannot be made official until Tuesday because Harvey signed with the Magic as a free agent on Sept. 23. Under NBA rules, he cannot be traded for three months after that date.

The 6-foot-8 forward would bolster a depleted Phoenix roster. The Suns are without Amare Stoudemire perhaps until mid-January because of a sprained ankle. Rookie forward Zarko Cabarkapa will be sidelined even longer with a broken wrist.
