The Minnesota Timberwolves plan on deciding whether center Michael Olowokandi needs more surgery or an extended rehap program.

On Thursday, Olowokandi met with team physicians and doctors outside the organization to help him decide the best course of action.

"We're looking at what's going to be the best course of action for him at this point,'' coach Flip Saunders said. "We need to find out what is going to get him to where he'll have a chance to be as close to 100 percent healthy as possible ? whether it's more rest, another procedure or more rehab. Whatever the doctors think is necessary.''

Either way, Saunders has said Olowokandi won't play for at least another two or three weeks.
