PHOENIX (AP) Suns forward Amare Stoudemire is expected to miss a month with a sprained left ankle.

Phoenix activated center Cezary Trybanski to take Stoudemire's place on the active roster Monday.

Stoudemire was helped off the court Friday night after injuring himself by landing on Paul Pierce's foot during Phoenix's 110-106 victory over Boston.

Stoudemire, the 2002-03 rookie of the year, is averaging 15.1 points, 8.9 rebounds and 1.72 blocks this season for the Suns (8-11).
