ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) Orlando Magic forward Pat Garrity will need a third surgery on his injured right knee and might not return this season.

Garrity has not been placed on the injured list because the team's list is full, Magic spokesman Joel Glass said Saturday.

``We will continue to gather information, but another surgery seems likely at this point, which would sideline him for an extended period of time, quite possibly the season,'' Glass said.

Garrity missed his second straight game Friday, a 106-101 loss to the Denver Nuggets. He had returned to the lineup on Nov. 7 against Minnesota.

Garrity said he will seek another opinion from a doctor in North Carolina on Monday, but conceded he'll need another surgery.

``It isn't good for me,'' Garrity was quoted as saying in Saturday's edition of the Orlando Sentinel.

Garrity missed training camp and all of the preseason while in rehab. He had been hobbled during the playoffs by the injured knee and a severe groin injury.

He averaged 10.7 points in 81 games last season and led the team in 3-point shooting, making 39 percent.
