Clay Tucker won't be one of the invited guests at Madison Square Garden for the National Basketball Association's player draft Thursday night.

He plans to watch the two-round made-for-television event at his parents' house in Lima, Ohio.

And Tucker, UW-Milwaukee's all-time leading scorer and rebounder, isn't sure whether his name will be called during the two-round draft. That is usually a pretty good sign that it won't be, but Tucker does know this much:

"If they don't call my name, I won't be happy, but it's not going to stop me," said Tucker, who led the Panthers to their first berth in the NCAA tournament in March. "There are other ways to get into the NBA and I'm going to try any way I can.

"Nobody has given me any indication that I will be drafted, but that doesn't mean it can't happen."
