The Washington Wizards appear to be very impressed by the Nets' postseason run. Sources say the Wizards are not only looking at Nets director of scouting Ed Stefanski as a GM candidate but they also have their eyes on Nets assistant coach Eddie Jordan.

Having run president of basketball operations Michael Jordan out of town, Wizards owner Abe Pollin is expected to fire coach Doug Collins.

Pollin has been searching for a GM and Nets president Rod Thorn, a friend of Pollin, recommended his righthand man Stefanski, according to league sources. Stefanski has been linked to the Wizards along with Boston's Chris Wallace, Atlanta's Billy Knight, Milwaukee's Ernie Grunfeld and Detroit's John Hammond.
