Bulls rookie Jay Williams might not have scored against the Orlando Magic last night, but he was doing plenty of shooting during the post-game conference.  Williams aired his frustrations with himself and his team, and when told captain Jalen Rose shot down Williams' "stupid" comments with disdain.

Asked if there is a rift between players and the coaches, Williams didn't hold back.

"I think so a little bit," he said. "But then again, that's what this can do to you. When you're losing so many games, it's frustrating. It makes you second-guess yourself and everything that's going on here.

"We need to get better. If we don't get better, maybe some things need to happen. Maybe I go, some people go, just changes to get things better. Chicago deserves it. I think it's a great city. I love being here. They deserve to have a good team."

"That's stupid," Rose said in response. "I don't hear it. I don't see it. If that's what he said, he's speaking his mind and I respect that he's trying to tell you what he feels like is happening. But I'm in this locker room every day and as captain, I don't see that."

"You have to be a pro and get it done. That's amazing. That's a surprising statement."

Williams' also lobbied to spend time on the court with fellow guard Jamal Crawford, again suggesting that the two point guards do not see eachother as the enemy.  Crawford and Williams have been involved in an intense and stressful battle for court time at point guard all season after coach Bill Cartwright refused to play the duo together.

"I'm not blaming losing the game on that," Williams said. "The effort wasn't there. But we need to do things differently. Maybe the same things we did four or five years ago aren't going to be the same things that work now.

"This will probably get me in a little rift for saying what I'm saying, but I'm just telling you how I feel."
