On what should have been a special night for a special player, the Washington Wizards were especially horrible.

The Jazz took advantage of that fact Friday night, beating the Wizards 109-77 in front of a sold-out Delta Center crowd of 19,911 watching Michael Jordan play his apparently final game in Utah.

"Really," Wizards coach Doug Collins said, "the game was over in four minutes.

"Jerry stopped them from beating us by 70," Collins added with reference to Jazz coach Jerry Sloan, back on the bench after serving a seven-game suspension for shoving referee Courtney Kirkland. "That was embarrassing."
