The Associated Press reports: Shawn Kemp might have to take another drug test today inorder to end his suspension for violating the league's anti-drug policy.

"We're getting conflicting reports about whether he will have to take another test on Friday,'' Orlando coach Doc Rivers said before the Magic's game against Detroit Thursday night. "The bottom line is, we don't know. We don't know what's going on. They just told us it takes longer than you think to process all of the stuff. We just have to be patient. At the end of the day, if he's proven innocent then it was worth it.''

Kemp was suspended on Tuesday for missing a drug test. Because he is a two-time offender of the league's anti-drug policy, he is tested once a week.

"When I talked to him, Shawn said, 'I have not used drugs. I'm clean. I missed a test. I didn't flunk a test,''' Rivers said. "He didn't fail a test. He just missed a test. I want to make sure people understand that.''

Kemp's suspension will continue until he has resumed full compliance with his treatment program.
