John Denton of Florida Today reports that Orlando forward Grant Hill returned to action against the Pacers last night? only to leave the game with pain in his troublesome left ankle. The game marked Hill?s return after resting the injury for two weeks.

After finally feeling good enough to play, the team decided to limit Hill?s minutes to help give the ankle more time to heal. After only 16 minutes, Hill had to leave the game when the pain returned. He played 12 minutes in the first half but could only muster four minutes in the third quarter before calling it quits. He had nine points, three rebounds and three assists, but turned the ball over five times. He did not address the media after the game.

"He just got sore again, so we had to take him out,'' Magic coach Doc Rivers muttered. "It is what it is, I guess. I just don't know what to say?"
