Toni Kukoc has been missing from action since December 2nd after he was forced to have ligament surgery on his right thumb, and during that time he has seen his Bucks drop six games below .500.

Kukoc started practicing with his teammates on Wednesday for the first time in weeks according to Tom Eland of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, and sporting a cheeky smile and an evil sense of humor he toyed with reporters about his injury.

"I have nothing to tell you about my thumb," said Kukoc, sporting a mischievous grin. "But I can tell you that I am a good-looking man. If you want it from someone close to the situation, I can tell you I am a good-looking man. But I have nothing to say about my thumb."

The truth is Kukoc is hoping to play against his ex-team the Bulls this Friday in Milwaukee, but whether he does or not will be a game time decision.

The Bucks were coming together with Kukoc performing well on the court, then when he went down the team sort of went to water. Kukoc said that it would be incorrect to look at him as a savior, the player who is going to single-handedly reverse the team's fortunes.

"That would be the wrong way to look at it," he said. "I don't think I can do that as much as I would like to. Not if the rest of the team doesn't pick up the intensity and get serious."
