Branson Wright of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that Darius Miles hears the rumors? and he knows they?re false.

Miles has had a tough go of it while playing limited minutes after returning from the injured list. He had offseason surgery on his knee and was recently placed on the injured list with tendinitis. In 26 minutes per game since his return, he?s averaging only 7.0 points and 5.6 rebounds.

Cavaliers? coach John Lucas has said that he is limiting Miles? minutes until he plays himself back into game shape and his knee regains strength.

Last week there were rumors of a Cleveland/Toronto trade involving Miles, Zydrunas Ilgauskas and Vince Carter. This week, there are rumors that Miles? minutes are being monitored because his knee is damaged goods.

Miles said those claims are false.

"For someone from around the league to say something like that is very funny because they don't have the inside scoop," Miles said. "The surgery I had over the summer was just routine. It was just to clean things out. If it was something serious, I'd be going crazy. If my knees were shot, I wouldn't get the dunks I'm getting."
