It only took one-third of the season for the Jazz to establish exactly who they are.

They are a team that relies on their aging superstars as much as ever. Well, except that John Stockton and Karl Malone are shooting at career-low levels and scoring fewer points than they have since they first broke in, while the other 10 players are contributing more than ever before.

OK, so they are a team built on young guys. Except that Stockton and Malone rank first and third in minutes, and they still make most of the critical plays; the Jazz are 10-4 when Malone scores 20 points and 7-3 when Stockton collects eight assists.
