Jerry Brewer of the Orlando Sentinel reports that the Magic are juggling players because of injury. Horace Grant was finally activated off the injured list on Wednesday, but MVP candidate Tracy McGrady had to sit out Wednesday?s game with a sore ankle.

Grant missed the first 17 games of the season while recovering from surgery on his left knee. To make room for Grant, Olumide Oyedeji was placed on the injured list because of a strained lower back.

McGrady injured his left ankle in the first quarter of Monday?s loss to the Celtics. Even though he played the remainder of the game, the time off caused the injury to swell. McGrady tested the ankle during warmups before the Knicks game and decided to sit. He will try to play against the Wizards on Friday.

Even though it is a mild sprain, the Magic will be cautious with the injury. They have started a 10-game  road trip with three "back-to-backs". The team already knows that those games can be tough on nagging injuries as Grant Hill has struggled to stay in the lineup.
