Jerry Brewer of the Orlando Sentinel reports that Grant Hill is back. When yesterday?s practice was opened to the media, Hill was already on the court. After shooting jump shots for 20 minutes and landing on his sore left ankle, he walked, not limped, off the court.

Magic coach Doc Rivers held Hill out of the more strenuous drills during the 90-minute session.

We're all foolish to think that we're going to go through a whole season -- with three surgeries in the past two years -- where you're not going to have some soreness," Hill said. "Every part of my body at different times has been sore. My right ankle has been sore. Now my left ankle is catching up. I don't think it's that big of a deal.

"But I understand because of the past, the history of it, there's going to be a lot of concern."

Expect Hill to play his customary 25-35 minutes against Sacramento tonight. It is still unknown how much time Hill will get during the Magic?s upcoming nine-day stretch in which they play six games. They could sit him out a quarter, a half or a whole game. They will have a better idea of how to deal with the soreness after his response to tonight?s game.
