The Chicago Bulls started the season showing great progress. There are good reasons why Bulls fans should expect a lot from this season, but Mike McGraw of Daily Herald also points out reasons why the fans should not get too excited.

The starting lineup consists of young players including a rookie and three second-years players. Bulls have a long road trip ahead. Marshall isn?t reliable as he missed 23 games last season and at times will disappear in the games. Bulls are yet to find a solid clutch player.

Although there are concerns on how well this team can perform, Mike says all is not lost. There is still plenty to be happy about with this team, who currently suprise many with a 2-1 record.  Marshall came here as a bargain free agent and is a solid veteran. Rose fills the superstar role that every team must have. Bulls have arguable the best bench of the league. And their youngsters, their foundation, still have room for development.

So while things may be looking up in the Windy City, it is not time to gather at Grant Park just yet.
