On the same day Utah's potential point guard of the future arrived in Salt Lake, an ex-Jazzman landed in Orlando.

Jacque Vaughn signed with the Magic on Wednesday, reportedly agreeing to a one-year deal worth the minimum salary for a player with his experience, $699,935.

"It's a great day for me," said Vaughn, the Jazz's first-round draft choice (27th overall) out of Kansas in 1997. "You get to play for a coach (Doc Rivers) who not only had a successful career, but he played the point guard position. In addition, (and) a group of guys that their objective is to win and play together."
