The (AP) reports: A man surrendered to police Thursday in the shooting death of a 20-year-old during a robbery at the home of Orlando Magic guard Troy Hudson.

Kenthaddeus Taylor, 25, was charged with second-degree murder and attempted home invasion after he told investigators that he was involved in the shooting death Sunday of Carrick Reid, said Lt. Gary Calhoun, a Maitland police spokesman.

Police said Taylor and another armed man pulled up to Hudson's home in a stolen Jeep Cherokee on Sunday and burst into the driveway.

Taylor and the second attacker chased Cleveland Fields, Reid and a 15-year-old neighbor into the house and demanded money, Calhoun said. Reid was shot four times and the teen-ager was pistol-whipped. Fields, 27, escaped unharmed, police said.

According to local Orlando TV stations, the motives were money and drugs.
