There is a tremendous amount of pressure that comes along with being a #1 draft pick in the NBA and Michael Olowokandi has felt the pressure to perform up to those expectations.  Many Clipper fans would tell you they didn't think he was coming close to meeting those expectations.  Until now.

Elliott Teaford, of the Los Angeles Times, reports "He was once languid, but now he's driven. He was awkward, now he's smooth. He was timid, now he's fearless. He was an afterthought, now he's a go-to guy. He was booed, now he's cheered."  Olowokandi is averaging 16.2 points and 10.8 rebounds in 13 games this month. "Kandiman" has overall averages of 10.2 points and nine rebounds this season.
