Tim Buckley writes about this strange Utah Jazz season.

During his 17 NBA seasons in Utah, Karl Malone has never experienced anything quite like this season, he said Wednesday.

"It's just been a weird year for me," the Jazz star said the morning after Tuesday's come-from-behind win over Houston that typified what has been one stomach-churning roller coaster of a season.

Against the Rockets, the 39-32 Jazz were down 16, up two, and down 15 again before finally winning by four.
