Given a reprieve after halftime, Robinson more than made up for his lost time. If he wasn't swatting away a shot in the third quarter, Robinson was either taking a charge or throwing down a dunk, sparking the Spurs to an 89-76 victory over the Clippers at the Staples Center.

Robinson's defensive display ? six points, four rebounds, three blocks and two drawn charges in the quarter ? helped the Spurs overcome another poor shooting night by Duncan. Robinson finished with 12 points, five rebounds and seven blocks as the Spurs snapped their two-game losing streak.

Prior to the game, the Spurs activated Danny Ferry, who didn't take too long to make his presence felt. Though he didn't play until the fourth quarter, Ferry took a charge, hit a 3-pointer and even got into a minor scrape with Darius Miles, who shoved the Spurs forward twice with 3.6 seconds left in the game.
