Los Angeles

- A good sign that a team is in a funk is when one of its players has a career game and he wears the face of depression.

Chris Mihm scored a career-high 20 points and had 10 rebounds during the Cavs' 117-88 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night.

Despite recording a double-double, Mihm sat dejected at his locker stall with both knees packed with ice following the game. The ice wasn't the only thing numb in the locker room.

"This is so disappointing," Mihm said. "It doesn't matter that I scored a career-high in points. We came in here [against Golden State] after fighting so hard against Sacramento. We controlled the momentum of that Sacramento game until the end. We gave a good effort and played hard."

Mihm said he was ready to get past the Warriors.

"But we were sluggish," Mihm said. "They came out and jumped out on us early and were able to hold us off for the whole game, even when we were able to make some runs."

The Cavs lost for the eighth straight time and for the fifth consecutive time during their six-game trip. The Cavs play their final game on the road tonight against the Los Angeles Clippers.
