The Orange County Register reports that Clippers forward Lamar Odom's suspension for violating the terms of the NBA's anti-drug program was lifted Wednesday.

Odom, who missed eight games, will play tonight at home against the New Jersey Nets. The Clippers were 5-3 without Odom.

Gentry plans to ease the 6-foot-10 Odom back into the starting lineup. For now, Corey Maggette will remain the starting small forward. But Gentry said Odom would play a lot, probably cutting into Maggette's minutes.

Odom has been slow to recover from a bruised left foot suffered in the Clippers' loss Nov. 3 against the Golden State Warriors. It was possible he would have been sidelined for all eight games because of the injury.
