There was no secret that the Chicago Bulls coveted High Schooler Darius Miles, an East St. Louis High School product, in the 2000 NBA Draft.  They had the fourth pick, choosing forward Marcus Fizer after Miles went third overall to the L.A. Clippers, a move which it turns was a lucky one for the Bulls.

''Chicago would have picked me, but I wouldn't have gone,'' Miles said. ''I would never have gone to Chicago.''  Miles admitted he was prepared to 'pull a Steve Francis' and force a trade if he was chosen by Chicago.
